H.O.G. Mileage Program

How far will you go for a patch
or pin? Did you ever wonder why some folks are sporting pins,
patches, and motorcycle medallions professing how far they have
ridden? Reason is, they enrolled in the HD Mileage Program, which is
one of the benefits available to National HOG members for riding
their Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Official Guidelines
1. You must enroll EACH motorcycle in the
program prior to accumulating miles. Mileage accumulated prior to
enrollment is not eligible for consideration.
2. Participation is offered exclusively to
active HOG members (full and associate).
3. Members may enroll in the HOG Mileage
Program by completing an enrollment form. Vehicle identification
number and current mileage must be indicated on the form at time of
enrollment, and all enrollment forms must be endorsed by an
authorized Harley-Davidson dealer. Members should send their form
c/o HOG office.
4. An additional HOG Mileage Program form
must be submitted when a vehicle is sold/traded indicating the
ending mileage reading for the old vehicle along with the vehicle
identification number and starting mileage of the new vehicle.
5. For each mileage level, a separate HOG
Mileage Program form must be completed, endorsed by an authorized
Harley-Davidson dealer, and submitted to the HOG office.
6. Passengers are also welcome to
participate in the HOG Mileage Program. The passenger must also be
an active HOG member, and enrollment is to be documented on the same
form as his or her sponsoring rider.
7. Those listed as a passenger on a form,
but who are also riders, may submit a separate enrollment form if
they would like to accumulate miles as a rider. However, mileage
accumulated on one vehicle cannot be shared with another rider (i.e.
the same mileage cannot be reported twice for two rider awards).
8. Fly & Ride and Harley-Davidson Authorized
Rentals miles may be credited to your file by submitting a copy of
the contract, which indicates mileage accumulated.
9. Each Mileage Program form must document
odometer readings and appropriate vehicle identification numbers for
all vehicles used to accumulate required mileage for that particular
mileage level.
A HOG Mileage Program pin and patch will be
sent to all HOG members upon enrollment in the program. After
enrollment, additional awards can be earned by achievement of the
mileage levels listed increments of 10,000; 25,000; 40,000; 60,000;
80,000; 100,000; 125,000; 150,000; 175,000; 200,000; 250,000; and
300,000.
Note: After 300,000 miles, the award levels
will remain at 50,000 mile increments. Special medallions and
rockers, suitable for placement on your Harley-Davidson motorcycle,
will be awarded for each 100,000 mile achievement.
Enrollment forms are available from the HOG
National web sites Member Benefits section.
