QUESTION:  I heard that passports are needed  to go to Mexico ?

ANSWER:  Correct. Effective January 2008, you must have a passport to go to Mexico and Canada, when you fly or take a cruise and  if you are crossing the border by land.

bullet ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda are required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document.
